Companies needing interns, it's your time to act!

Herizon Internship Programs just started last quarter, and we have interns ready to show you their skills. Students are majoring in tech and business. Many are interested in using, implementing and automating with AI. Internships run 10-12 weeks, and students in the program have completed a two-week bootcamp where they learned the expectations of Finnish work life. Participating is free for companies.

What happened in Q3 2026

Employed community members grew from 1,687 to 2,204 this quarter. Here is what else happened.

• 20 new courses opened on the portal, including 'When the job goes wrong', 'Agile and Scrum in practice', 'Finnish for interviews' and 'Web development fundamentals'.
• 3 monthly labor market reports were published, covering July, August and September 2026.
• 4 companies signed up to the Talent Matcher and posted their first internship project.
• The portal shipped peer mentorship, a consolidated job hunt dashboard, new notifications, and upgrades to chat and mentorship suggestions.

• 46 placements to date, across 15 partner companies.

  Startup job postings nearly doubled to 6,831 while international openings fell 11 percent, and software engineering demand surged to 5,937 as sales and customer-service roles declined.

  Communication skills had the largest relative gain in September 2026, doubling to 1,327 mentions, while Customer Service rose 79% to 5,410, and Security Engineer postings climbed 43% to 2,110.
