Everything chat got, the feed now has too:

• Formatting in posts and comments. Wrap text like this for bold, this for italic and this for code.
• Link previews. Shared links unfurl into cards.
• @mentions with autocomplete. Tagged members get a notification.

When you ask someone to mentor you, they now get an email right away (with a couple of friendly reminders), so your request gets seen even if they have not opened the portal in a while.

Two short guides are now built into the Mentorship page:

• Being a great mentor — how to show up, set expectations, and actually help.
• Getting the most from mentorship — how to find the right mentor and make every conversation count.

Open Mentorship from the Connect tab and tap a guide to read it.

When a mentor accepts your request, a chat opens between you automatically, starting from your original message. Your mentorship page now has a Message button too, so reaching your mentor or mentee is one tap.

We removed the Wins post type - it never became the celebration we hoped for. Your past win posts are safe in your activity history, and course completions still get their moment in the feed. We are cooking up a better way to celebrate progress.

Your chats now show read receipts: under your last message you can see "Read" in one-to-one chats, and in group chats small avatars show who has caught up.

You can now set your Finnish level (A1 to C2) on your career goal and profile, described in plain job-hunt terms. It helps us match you to roles you can already do - and shows you what one more level would unlock.

If you have unread notifications and have not been in the portal for a while, we now send you one short email summarising them - mentorship requests, messages, replies and all. No more missed asks.

New opportunities and your monthly skills-to-develop tips now appear in the main feed instead of only the This week box, so they are harder to miss.

Floria can now practice work-Finnish with you at your level: decode a job ad together, rehearse the standard interview questions, or just do coffee-break small talk. Open Floria and tap "Practice Finnish for work" to start.

Applying just got lighter. Paste a job posting link or the posting text into Job applications and we read it, check it against your skills, and prefill the application - your tailored cover letter is one tap away. You can also ask Floria to add a job you are eyeing straight from chat.

Chat is now one place for everything. Message anyone in the community one-to-one, or pick two or more people to start a group chat, right alongside your program rooms. Tap the compose button in Chat to begin.

Type @name in a message and that person gets notified, so nothing important gets missed in a busy chat.

We now proactively suggest mentors and mentees based on your goals and topics, so the right connection finds you instead of you having to search.

At the start of each month, your feed highlights the skills your career goal still needs, each linking straight to that skill so you can start growing it.

A weekly digest in your feed rounds up what is new across the community: members who joined, fresh courses, and upcoming events.

You now get notified about mentorship requests and updates, and every member profile has a report option.

Opening a chat clears its unread dot on every surface, not just the one you opened it from.

The Career tab now shows the most-mentioned skills from real job postings, so you can aim your learning at live demand.

Assessment results now show each question, your answer, and what the grader looked for. A near miss tells you exactly what to improve before you retry.
