Who it is for

Time: a few hours in total, at your own speed. Each page ends in something you do on your own search. This is for you if you are: - An international professional living in Finland or elsewhere in the Nordics and looking for work - Applying for roles and hearing little back - Unsure how hiring here differs from where you worked before ---

The situation you work through

Noor, a data analyst who moved from Amman to Helsinki, runs her Finnish job search over four weeks: a reframed CV and LinkedIn profile, a read of the market, proof of her skills, outreach, applications and interviews.

Your practice task

Pick one role you would realistically apply for. Collect 10 currently open Finnish postings for it and tally the skills that appear in at least 7 of them. Rewrite your 3 strongest achievements with the action, tools and outcome template, each naming a tallied skill, then write a 3-line CV summary and a LinkedIn headline that contain your top 3 tallied terms word for word. Submit the role, the tally, the 3 achievements, the summary and the headline.
