Who it is for
People changing career, and anyone who wants a clearer way to run work. You need no project management background. If you have ever pulled a team effort together, planned an event, or sorted out something with many moving parts, you have already done this work without the title.
The situation you work through
Noora, a project coordinator at the invented Paja Outdoors shop, runs one small project, moving the web shop to a new platform in 10 weeks, through scope, plan, stakeholders, risks and close.
Your practice task
Plan one small project of your own on a single page. Write a scope statement with at least three out-of-scope items, place at least five milestones on a line of weeks, map at least five stakeholders on a power-interest grid, and keep a risk register with five risks, each with an owner and a response. Add one status report written as if it were week 3. Put it in a Google Doc and submit the link.
