  • A keyword chosen from what searchers really want
  • A page with a rewritten title, description and opening
  • One technical or local fix done on that page
  • A baseline in Search Console and a plan to read the result at day 30 and day 90

Who it is for

Time per page: 15 to 25 minutes Whole course: 3 to 4 hours (10 pages, at your own speed) This is for you if you: - Run a business and want more customers from Google - Work in marketing but have not focused on SEO - Have a website and are not sure why it is hard to find - Want to manage someone who does SEO for you ---

The situation you work through

Elina, a marketer one day a week at a three-mechanic bike workshop in Tampere, improves one service page for one keyword, from research to a result she measures in Search Console.

Your practice task

Improve one page of your own site for one keyword. Record its Search Console baseline for a 28-day window, check what the results page shows for your keyword, then rewrite the title, description and opening and make one more fix, such as compressing a heavy image or correcting your business profile. Submit the page address and keyword with one sentence on the searcher's intent, your baseline numbers, your new title, description and first two sentences with the extra fix, and the dates of your day 30 and day 90 checks.
